The Radiology Department at SVUH is one of the largest in the country, extending over three floors of the hospital. Over 200,000 imaging examinations are performed annually using state-of-the-art equipment, in addition to around 12,000 procedures performed with imaging guidance.
I was approached by Dr. Eric Heffernan from the radiology department of St. Vincent’s University Hospital to help him design a site having had no luck with a do-it-yourself website service called Mr. Site.
I came up with designs and agreed on a colourful palette to compliment all the grey scale radiology images. Once I had the theme developed I was also asked to come up with a solution for image maps and found the only image map plugin for WordPress that existed, which was pure luck, because it was a good one. The result was a a very interesting and useful website with hundreds of case studies to help students of radiology.
Alan was incredibly helpful throughout the process of developing our website and getting it ready to launch on time. The completed website far exceeded my expectations and was surprisingly affordable. Alan provides excellent customer service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
