Mobile usage does not take away from desktop

There’s a perception out there that smart phones and smaller devices are taking over our lives. It’s true, they are! But that doesn’t mean we’ve dumped the desktop. Although use has dropped slightly, for the US anyway, we are simply spending more time each and every day looking at devices, except of course for print in particular which is dropping in popularity.

Have a look at the graph above created by Luke Wroblewski and you can see how desktop usage has dropped slightly, but more importantly, mobile usage is increasing.
